41 boys caught driving without licence

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: Traffic officers arrested 41 juveniles for driving without driving license during the Liberation and Independence Days.

They also issued 3,467 citations, impounded 128 vehicles, referred 4 people to detention, and dealt with 265 traffic accidents, says Al-Seyassah.

The initiative is part of incessant traffic campaigns launched upon instructions from the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major General Abdullah Al-Muhanna. Security sources added that traffic officers arrested juveniles 14 to 17 years old in Hawalli area.

They were referred to concerned authorities. Meanwhile, police officers from Farwaniya Security Command referred an Asian man to the concerned authorities for harassing women in a famous commercial complex in Al-Rai.

The officers spotted the Asian man while he was harassing some women in the commercial complex until he went as far as attempting to grope the women, taking advantage of their silence in fear of causing a scene.

And, Capital securitymen resolved a quarrel between two youths after they exchanged blows at a marketplace in Sharq area. They were referred to the area police station for necessary action.
