40 reports filed for disconnecting electricity and water of tenants

KUWAIT CITY, May 16: The Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) received 40 reports about landlords and guards who disconnected water and electricity from units where tenants did not pay rent during the curfew, reports Al-Seyassah/Arab Times daily.
In a press statement, Deputy Head of the Arrest Warrant Team at the ministry and a member of the Bachelors Committee Ahmed Al- Shammari revealed these reports were made through the hotline of the ministry.
He affirmed the team verified these reports and it found that 70 percent of these reports are related to tampering with electricity and water networks, which resulted in cutting these services
