KUWAIT CITY, April 5: The Public Prosecution has opened an investigation into the loss of important case from the courts and has detained three court secretaries and one bailiff for interrogation, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The daily also said the Prosecution has turned down requests for the release of those detained. A reliable source said the Prosecution has charged the suspects responsible for the ‘disappearance’ of a real estate file of a company which was accused of fraud and swindling citizens because the real estate that was sold never existed. The company has denied the charge.

The source pointed out it is the same case which was submitted by the Minister of Justice to the Attorney- General. It is also the same case which was reported by the President of the Court of First Instance, so the Public Prosecution has decided to combine these files into one case because they are concerning the same issue. The source explained the Prosecution will refer this file to the Criminal Court.
