4 absolved in forgery

KUWAIT CITY, June 30: The Criminal Court has acquitted 4 defendants of the charge of forging official documents — traffic accident reports – for the benefit of certain people to help them benefit from insurance company funds. The Public Prosecution had charged the defendants with forging official documents, and helping obtain compensation from insurance company by fabricating traffic accidents. In court, defense Attorney Jarrah Al-Enezi said the investigations were invalid because of their lack of seriousness and lack of criminal intent on the part of the defendants and the absence of the elements of the crime against the defendants
