3 deaths, 641 new infection from coronavirus detected in Kuwait, total 7,208

KUWAIT, May 8: The Kuwait Ministry of Health reported, Friday, 641 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally to 6,289. Deaths reached 47 with 3 new cases.

160 cases of residents of Indians, 154 for Kuwaiti citizens 122 cases of residents of Egyptian, 44 Pakistanis 48 Bangladeshis.

Among the total cases that were monitored at Health centers during the past 24 hours, 207 cases were monitored in Al Farwaniya, 147 cases in Hawalli , 112 cases in Ahmadi , 109 cases in the Capital , and 66 cases in Al-Jahra .

As for the residential areas where the highest number of infections was observed during the past 24 hours, 66 cases were monitored in Al Farwaniyah, 63 cases in Hawalli, 56 cases in Khaitan, and 49 cases in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
