3 attack cop – ‘Drifter’ held

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: Two Kuwaiti citizens and a Saudi national have been arrested for attacking a policeman in Sulaibiya area and damaging his patrol vehicle. In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media explained that a video clip on the incident went viral on social media. Based on this video clip, securitymen launched investigations and managed to identify the suspects.
They were arrested and a case was filed against them. Investigations revealed that the policeman, while patrolling, saw the first suspect perform dangerous life-threatening stunts using a vehicle that did not have a number plate. When he ordered the suspect to stop, the latter crashed into the patrol vehicle, causing damages to it. The second and third suspects then attacked the policeman which resulted in bruises to the latter.
