350 evacuated to Egypt from Kuwait
KUWAIT CITY, Mar 30: The Egyptian Consulate to Kuwait stated that in one of the evacuation trip conducted from Kuwait one positive case has been detected for which isolation procedures has been applied to those infected with coronavirus.
The consulate added in a statement issued today, Monday “Home quarantine for 28 days for all returnees has been applied, regardless if the returnees is not tested positive”, noting that these steps come in the interest of the Egyptian authorities concerned with the health and safety of citizens and residents in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Meanwhile 350 Egyptian residents including 14 deportees left the country due to their violation of the residence law.
The trip came in coordination with the Egyptian embassy in Egypt and EgyptAir with the Kuwaiti authorities to evacuate those who entered the country with family, commercial and tourist visit cards and humanitarian cases.
