KUWAIT CITY, April 24: Police officers from Farwaniya Security Command launched an extensive security and traffic campaign against reckless drivers, which resulted in the issuance of 60 traffic violations, impounding of three vehicles and arrest of two individuals who are wanted by law.
The campaign took place in Ardhiya Industrial area, which was also aimed at preventing indecent acts given that there are colleges for girls and boys in the area. Meanwhile, officers from Ahmadi Security Command carried out a similar campaign that led to impounding of 12 cars, issuance of 200 citations and arrest of some individuals wanted by law for involvement in criminal and financial cases.
Student assaulted: An unidentified father has filed a complaint with the Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh Police Station accusing an Egyptian teacher of brutally beating his boy, reports Al- Shahed daily. One of the school-mates managed to film the incident with his cell phone. The victim, a class 9 student, has sustained bruises in the face, neck and back. The teacher will be summoned for interrogation
