2 held with drugs – Couple caught

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 9: Security officers arrested two Kuwaitis on the Fahaheel Expressway in possession of illicit drug and its paraphernalia. Apparently, the citizens parked at the roadside when they spotted the patrol car and prompted the officers to approach them for checking. They found illicit substance, 14 syringes and other narcotic pills, and referred the citizens to concerned authorities.

Meanwhile, police arrested a Kuwaiti couple for possession and consumption of drugs and then referred them to the Drugs Control General Department, reports Annahar daily. Mubarak Al-Kabeer police received information about two disoriented persons inside a car in the parking lot of Al-Qurain Cooperative Society. Police found the man and his wife under the influence of drugs and they seized four sachets of heroin as well as sorcery tools from the couple. And, Customs officers at Shuwaikh Port foiled the attempt of an Iranian man to smuggle narcotics into the country, reports Annahar daily
