2 deaths, 295 new infections from coronavirus in Kuwait, total 5,278

KUWAIT, May 4: Kuwait has registered 295 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 5,278, the health ministry said on Monday.
Virus-related deaths rose by 2 to 40 in total, spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad said in the daily press briefing on the pandemic

New cases infected with corona – 2 linked to Kuwaitis who were repatriated where as 293 came in contact they were 85 India, 65 Egypt, 53 Kuwaitis, 30 Bangladeshi and other nationalities.

Two deaths were related to Kuwaiti citizen aged 74 years who was in intensive care 55 days ago and an Indian resident age 58 who was in intensive care for two days

Earlier today, Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah said recoveries climbed to 1,947 in total after 171 people more were cured.
