2 commercial stores shut for not abiding to health regulation

KUWAIT, April 28: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced today, Tuesday, the closure of two commercial stores that did not abide by the applicable laws and decisions regarding the relevant measures to face the repercussions of the spread of Corona Virus (SARS Cove-2) infection that causes the disease (Covid 19).


MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that its inspection teams monitored 165 cooperative societies, supermarkets, commercial stores and vegetable stands to determine the extent of their commitment and maintain the stability of product prices, in addition to editing nine transcripts of violating commercial stores.


The inspection teams monitored 61 catering branches to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries.
The emergency center received 191 complaints via the hotline (135) and 20 complaints through the control centers, while the ration cards were renewed and issued for the number of 132. (KUNA)
