KUWAIT CITY, Aug 4: Fourteen people (butchers) who were caught for working during the Eid holidays, in violation of the existing laws, are expected to be deported from the country after taking necessary measures against them, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The sources said the joint committee (comprising personnel from the Ministry of Interior, Commerce, Social Affairs and the Kuwait Municipality) that was tasked with ensuring laws are respected during the Eid Al-Adha holiday had issued several warnings particularly targeting what it called the ‘roving butchers’.

The sources pointed out that the butchers will be expelled from the country and the employers’ files will be suspended until procedures are completed. The committee has warned all business owners to respect the labor law
