1,391 infected with coronavirus

KUWAIT CITY, June 9: At least 1,391 people have been infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours, taking overall infections to 321,648, Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said Wednesday. The number of those recovered from the virus pandemic in the same period hit 1,279, increasing total recoveries to 304,916, he told KUNA. The death toll from the disease rose to 1,806 after registering 5 mortalities in the corresponding period, Al- Sanad noted. (KUNA)
