KUWAIT CITY, March 31: Ahmadi securitymen arrested 1,023 violators of law during an extensive security campaign in Mahboula area on Wednesday, March 30. In a press release issued by Ministry of Interior, the Public Relations and Security Media Department affirmed that the arrested individuals have been referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. It explained that the securitymen who participated in the campaign had closed all entrances and exits in Mahboula area at 5 pm to stop violators of law from escaping.

The suspected locations were raided and the legal documents of the residents were checked to ensure they abide by the law. The campaign was carried out under the supervision of Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahad, Assistant Undersecretary for Operations at the ministry Major General Jamal Al-Sane’ and Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah and with the participation of the concerned sectors.

The department urged Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates to cooperate with securitymen, not to provide shelter to any violators of law or wanted criminals and to support the security campaigns, as they are aimed for the security of the people of Kuwait. It also requested all citizens and expatriates to carry their civil IDs at all times to ensure they are not arrested.
