10 Kuwaiti men and 6 women held at Salwa ‘wild’ party

KUWAIT CITY, June 19: Ten Kuwaiti men and six women were arrested from an apartment in Salwa area where an illicit party was being held. According to security sources, Ministry of Interior received several complaints from tenants of Salwa area about some individuals who rent flats in the area in order to hold illicit parties. Immediately, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah formed a security team headed by Hawally Security Director Major General Abdeen Al-Abdeen.

They kept a tab on one of the flats under suspicion. After confirming about an illicit party being held in the flat, a warrant was obtained from the Public Prosecution and the flat was raided. The team arrested ten Kuwaiti men accompanied with six women who were wearing skimpy party attire. Necessary legal action was taken and the suspects were referred to the General Department for Criminal Evidences.
