Three Syrians, Kuwaiti held for impersonating police to rob expats Securitymen arrest citizen for breaking into 13 cars

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: Ahmadi securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen wanted in connection with 13 thefts that happened in the suburb of Fahd Al-Ahmad, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said the police intensified efforts after receiving several complaints about thefts in the area, and investigations led to the suspect who was arrested in front of his home at Fahd Al- Ahmad. He admitted to stealing from cars parked at parking lots of cooperative societies and jogging tracks. He was referred to the concerned authorities.

Meanwhile, Farwaniya police apprehended four individuals-a Kuwaiti and three Syrians for impersonating police to rob expatriates in Farwaniya, Jleeb Shuyoukh and Khaitan areas, reports Al-Rai daily. Intensive investigations led to arrest of the first suspect (Syrian) who admitted perpetrating seven robberies. He named three partners in crime and provided their details to the police. They were arrested in Jleeb Shuyoukh and referred to the relevant authority.
