Egyptian Visa forgers arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: Two Egyptian expatriates were arrested for forging work permits issued by Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor for which they charged KD 300 each from their clients. According to security sources, when securitymen received information about the issuance of forged work permits by an Egyptian expatriate, a team was formed under the guidance of Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passport Affairs Major General Sheikh Mazen Al- Jarah.

After confirming the information and taking necessary legal measures, they arrested the expatriates in possession of 25 fake work permits, which were filled and had the seal of the ministry for which he used a software application. Sources said the suspect confessed to the crimes and revealed the identity of his accomplice of the same nationality who was eventually arrested. Securitymen checked the details of both suspects to discover that they were involved in some crime cases. They were referred to the concerned authorities for further investigations.
