Kuwait-Mangalore flight restarts Oct 27

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 27: Thanks to Almighty Allah that IE officials recognized the necessity of restoring the Mangalore-Kuwait sector as IE officials made 1.3 lakhs of passengers of Kuwait-Mangalore and Northern Part (Malabar) of Kerala in dark since Feb 13 this year.

Since then, passengers of this sector been struggling to get back the flights intact. IKFS executive committee strongly protested the cancellation of Kuwait- Mangalore sector by Air India Express in a memorandum addressed to IE on March 8th, 2014, along with strong protest note and were submitted to Air India Express Chairman Rohit Nandan & HE Ajit Singh, Hon Minister of Civil Aviation, Email: bprasad.moca@nic.in, Union Ministry of Civil Aviation.

IKFS is ready to assist IE officials in the case of direct flights from Kuwait to Mangalore- Kuwait. The flight from Mangalore to Kuwait has been planned to be operated on Monday, Wednesday and Friday departing from Mangalore at 7.30 am and reaching Kuwait via Bahrain at 11.15 am (local time).

In the return direction the flight from Kuwait to Mangalore will operate non-stop leaving Kuwait at 12.15 pm local time and arrive into Mangalore at 19:25 hours local time. As we have sacrificed our time and efforts while keeping away our children and family in our motherland, and sending money to India, the authorities should not argue for nothing, Dr Ghalib Al-Mashoor, President of IKFS said. IKFS in their earlier memo, have also quoted Indo-Kuwait bilateral trade statistical figures and it was necessary by IE officials to positively re-think and agree to NRI demands.
