100,000 Kuwaiti families didn’t travel in summer Finance main factor

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: A recent survey conducted by Al-Qabas daily indicated some 100,000 Kuwaiti families didn’t travel in summer, noting the category is unfamiliar with tourism unlike other citizens, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to the survey, these families decided to stay back this summer without traveling outside due to many reasons — and with the main factor being finance since many of them were unable to pay for their air-ticket, particularly the families of 10 members. Also, several conservative families didn’t travel because of custom and other restrictions such as Umrah, Hajj and visits to the holy shrine.
