Transvestites, cross-dressers held at Doha chalet wild party

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: Securitymen raided a chalet in Doha area where they apprehended nine transvestites and cross-dressers who were dancing and serving alcohol. According to security sources, when the Director of General Department for Criminal Evidences Major General Mahmoud Al-Tabakh received information about a group of transvestites and cross dressers holding an illegal party in a chalet, he immediately dispatched securitymen to the location for investigations. After confirming the information and obtaining permission from the Public Prosecution for raiding the chalet, securitymen arrested five cross-dressers and four transvestites who were dressed in skimpy clothes. They were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Liquor found in auto parts store: The Shuwaikh Industrial Area police recently raided a store and seized between 5,000 and 6,000 bottles of Red Label whisky, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. According to security sources documents show the store is owned by a bedoun to store auto parts but he has been making use of the place to store alcohol smuggled into the country. The daily added, the plainclothes police from the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station acting on a tipoff raided the place and seized the contraband. The team of detectives was led by Colonel Khaled Khamis, Major Fawaz Al- Duehis, Captain Jarrah Al-Sabah, Captain Mohammed Amash and First Lieutenant Faiz Lieutenant Ali Nawaf and deputy officer Mohammed Shehab. The contraband has been referred to the competent authority.
