Kuwaiti woman stabs father for not letting her go out

Police are interrogating a 22-year-old Kuwaiti woman who allegedly stabbed her father in the shoulder, chest and stomach because he refused to let her go out, reports Al- Shahed daily. The daily added, the incident happened in a suburb of Mubarak Al- Kabir where the family lives. Without going into details of the incident, the daily said when the victim’s son called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a call about the incident police and paramedics rushed to the stop, detained the suspect and rushed the man to the area hospital. It has also been reported that the victim’s wife and maid rushed to his rescue and prevented the daughter from causing more injuries to the man. However, the Al-Qabas daily said the father has been released from hospital after treatment and that the daughter also has been released after the father withdrew the case against her.

‘Love’ in public place: Police have arrested an unidentified young couple for making love inside a parked car in Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily According to a security source a police patrol during a routine patrol of the area suspected some movement in a car which was parked in a suspicious manner and when the officers approached the car they saw a young man and woman semi nude in a tight embrace. The couple has been charged with committing obscenity in a public place.

Two caught drunk: The Hawalli police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti working for the Ministry of Interior and his bedoun girlfriend for drinking alcohol in a public place, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, the Kuwaiti, whose identity has not been disclosed, was caught by a police patrol for reckless driving and while issuing the citation, the officer found the man and the woman in the passenger seat were under the influence of alcohol. They have been referred to the concerned authority.
