Kuwaiti stabs Indian salesman in Shuwaikh

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: Police are looking for a Kuwaiti for stabbing an Indian salesman working for auto spare parts shop on the Canada Dry Street in Shuwaikh, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily quoting security sources said the Kuwaiti got annoyed over the cost of the spare parts, stabbed the salesman, got behind the wheel and escaped. The salesman has been referred to a hospital.

Toy gun scare: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti, who was wanted by law in connection with several crimes related to consuming alcohol, reports Al- Qabas daily. The daily added, the man was taken into custody from a restaurant in a suburb of Sabah Al-Nasser after he picked up a fight with restaurant workers. The man was armed with a pistol, high on alcohol and threatened to shoot the workers. Police later discovered the pistol was a toy gun.

Kuwaiti robbed: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar who broke into the home of a Kuwaiti - an employee of the Ministry of Defence - and stole KD 8,750 cash, 3 plasma TV sets, a washing machine, 3 receivers, a refrigerator, 3 cell phones, and a blender, reports Al- Anba daily. The theft took place when the Kuwaiti was holidaying outside the country. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.
