Wife threatens to evict spouse from ‘house’ if he marries again Cars with UAE number plates

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9: A Kuwaiti citizen has lodged a complaint against his wife at Mubarak Al- Kabeer Police Station, accusing her of denying him the right to marry another wife by threatening to evict him from the marital home which he personally owns and has official documents to prove the fact, and ban him from seeing their children again, reports Al-Anba daily. He explained that he met a 30-year old woman whom he approached for marriage and she agreed. When he briefed his wife about his intention to marry again and about the action being permissible in religion, she became enraged and threatened to evict him. The woman maintained her stand when the police summoned her. She disclosed that she will sue the man to secure the house because she is in custody of their adult children.

‘Cars with UAE number plates’: Ministry of Interior has notified the relevant authorities within the ministry to fish out suspicious cars carrying UAE number plates, reports Al-Qabas daily. All security agencies have since been directed to be cautious in dealing with cars bearing the number plates of UAE, because they may have been used for criminal activities, imploring the officers to report any suspicious car to the Central Operations Department for necessary action.

Colonel’s son arrested: Mubarak Al-Kabeer securitymen arrested the 20-year old son of a ‘Colonel’ officer working in the Kuwaiti Army for allegedly hitting the car of a Kuwaiti woman deliberately and exposing lives of other people in the vicinity to danger, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, the Kuwaiti woman was driving alongside her husband when the suspect suddenly deviated towards them, hit the car and fled immediately. The victims later described the car to the police, which led to arrest of the suspect. The victims identified the suspect when the police arrested him with a friend who was in the car with him. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution
