Kuwait Oly soccer team gear up for Qasim friendly

Kuwaiti National Olympic Soccer Team will face Qasim Pasha Club of Turkey in a friendly match on Thursday as part of their preparation for the incoming competitive matches for which they have been camping in Turkey. Team Manager Faleh Al-Enezi has affirmed the team is fully prepared for the game, indicating technical crew has been concentrating on the weak and strong points of their opponents. He disclosed the team will focus on ball distribution through the wings for attackers Abdul-Rahman Bani and Mohammad Al-Fahad. He added that Mohammad Al-Bathali needs five days rest with continued physiotherapy to recover from his injury before participating in the training sessions.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Junior National Team lost to ENPPI Club of Egypt by 2-3 in the first friendly match Monday at their training camp in Cairo, Egypt. Both teams displayed high level of strength, such that the Kuwaiti team controlled the field for the first one-third of the game which fetched them two goals. The performance forced the Egyptian coach to make a couple of changes and this helped his team to turn the tide against their guests with three goals.
