Hashish hidden inside the sandals worn by the inmate

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 2: Securitymen affiliated to the Correctional Institutions Department found certain quantity of hashish inside the sandals worn by a Bedoun inmate of Central Prison, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to sources, the officers had taken the inmate to Farwaniya Hospital for kidney washing and used advanced gadgets to check him after arriving at the prison to find the hashish hidden inside his sandals. During investigations, he revealed that he exchanged shoes with another individual. Securitymen are carrying out investigations to find and arrest the second suspect.

Meanwhile, detectives from Jahra Investigation Department have been trailing a Bedoun youth suspected of stealing a car in Farwaniya and possession of fake new banknotes worth KD 300 found in the car, while he hit a police vehicle pursuing him in Sulaibiya. The officers were patrolling the area when they noticed a Land Cruiser parked in suspicious location. They checked details of the car and discovered that it was reported stolen at Farwaniya Police Station. Immediately the officers approached the suspect who sped off, so they pursued him until he hit another citizen’s car and when the police car blocked his way he hit it and fled into the neighborhood on foot
