Gang of seven admits stealing 11 cars

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 2:  Detectives from the Sulaibiya police station arrested a gang of seven individuals-a Kuwaiti, two Saudis, two Syrians, and two Bedouns, all in their 20s, for stealing cars, reports Al-Rai daily. Police from different areas in the six governorates received complaints from several individuals regarding the activities of the suspects. Intensive investigations were conducted by securitymen in Sulaibiya, which led to arrest of the gang in possession of drugs and a Kalashnikov rifle. They admitted stealing 11 cars.

Phone, laptop, cash stolen: Security operatives are looking for an unidentified burglar who broke into a Kuwaiti man’s car at a parking lot in Ahmadi and escaped with a smart phone, laptop computer, and KD 170 cash, in addition to credit cards and identification documents, reports Al-Rai daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.
