Ethiopian housemaid hangs to death

KUWAIT CITY, July 21: A 33-year-old Syrian expatriate was found dead in his family’s house in Sulaibiya area.  According to security sources, when the victim’s father, who is a military officer working at the Ministry of Interior, saw his son lying unconscious on the ground in one of the rooms in his house, he immediately notified the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and examined him to realize he was dead. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department and a case has been registered to determine the cause of the death.
Meanwhile, an Ethiopian housemaid committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room inside her sponsor’s house in Sabah Al-Salem area. 
According to sources, when the sponsor’s wife entered the housemaid’s room, she was shocked to find her hanging from the ceiling with a piece of cloth tied around her neck. 
Securitymen rushed to the location after receiving information about the incident. They interrogated the sponsor who revealed to them that the victim was worried about some family problems in her country.
