Citizen charges KD 3,000 for forging passports of Bedouns Guns, bullets, cash, drugs seized from man

KUWAIT CITY, July 19: A Kuwaiti citizen was nabbed by securitymen on charges of forging passports for Bedouns in return for KD 3,000, reports Al-Anba daily. Based upon a tip-off received by Criminal Investigation Department, the suspect was arrested in possession of three forged IDs, a pistol and a quantity of the drug substance “shabu”. Police will summon beneficiaries of the forged passports for investigation.

Cash, guns seized: The police arrested a Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s wanted by the Sentences Enforcement Department for a previous offense, after he tried to raid a livestock pen, reports al-Shahed Weekly. A security source said a Bangladeshi shepherd called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry and reported an armed young man in a disoriented state had threatened him with a firearm in an attempt to rob the farm belonging to his sponsor. Police rushed to the scene and arrested the suspect in possession of a pistol, bullets, hunting gun, KD 4,920 cash, hand cuffs, 6 cell phones and narcotics.

Watch KD 3,000 stolen: Police are looking for a person who stole a precious watch worth more than KD 3,000 from a shop in a commercial complex at South Surra, reports Al-Rai daily. It is said the thief was shown a variety of valuable watches and he managed to steal one of them, and then disguised as the salesman, he escaped with the watch. A case was registered in Al-Zahra police station.
Ex-MP’s brothers held: MP Majid Mousa said unidentified persons broke into his private farm in Abdali and made away with KD 3,000 and licensed hunting guns after causing great mess in the farm, reports al-Shahed weekly. The office of the Attorney General announced that security authorities have since arrested four brothers of a former MP in connection with the case. While checking his details, security operatives discovered the suspect was wanted by the Sentences Enforcement Department.
