Egyptians in fist-fight Man beats wife, girl in dispute

KUWAIT CITY, July 18: A Kuwaiti man assaulted his Kuwaiti wife and daughter before iftar in Mubarak Al-Kabeer area. The Kuwaiti lady accompanied by her 35- year old daughter filed a case in Mubarak Al- Kabeer police station and supported their claim with medical report which confirmed they were actually beaten. Later on, the husband was invited for investigation and he confirmed the incident was instigated by former family dispute. Necessary legal action was taken in that concern.

Meanwhile, four Egyptian expatriates suffered various degrees of injuries when they engaged in a bloody fist-fight in Mahboula area. They were referred to Adan Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, following the decision taken by the Council of Ministers ordering the Ministry of Interior to review the citizenship of people ‘who undermine the country’s security and stability’ through acts of violence Tarek Al- Suwaidan has followed in the footsteps of Kuwaiti clergyman Nabil Al-Awadhi and ‘corrected his position’, reports Al-Shahed daily. Al-Suwaidan has removed the logo of Rabaa Adawiya from his profile on the social networking website ‘Twitter’ for fear he may get caught in the web of the law and lose his citizenship. The logo professes support and belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood group.
