KAMCO wins Best GCC Asset Management Company ’14 award World Finance annual awards ceremony held

KUWAIT CITY, July 15: KAMCO announced today that it has won the prestigious ‘Best GCC Asset Management Company 2014’ award from World Finance. KAMCO’s success was announced at the World Finance annual awards ceremony, which was recently held in the United Kingdom. Representing KAMCO during the event were KAMCO’s Chief Executive Officer, Faisal Sarkhou, Vice President of MENA Asset Management, Mahmoud Tifouni and Vice President of Client Relationship and Marketing Department, Salem Jeiroudi who accepted the award on behalf of the company.

In an interview with World Finance Magazine, Faisal Sarkhou said, “KAMCO will continue to execute its strategy of introducing selective and innovative products in key sectors focused on MENA and GCC markets”.

 “We launched our new and first of its kind real estate yield fund that focuses on opportunities in the flourishing operational real estate sector across the GCC and MENA region in March 2014.Our teams are working on a number of other new innovative products that are set to be launched in different asset classes during the near future,” added Sarkhou.

The asset management sector is expected to further see positive growth led by the ongoing economic revival that would provide a push to regional capital markets to continue their growth and development journey which in turn is expected to further lift investor sentiments and confidence in the region. 

The impact would result in an anticipated rise of Assets under Management (AUMs) to a new level across the industry. The Asset Management Industry remains in its nascent stages of development with significant potential for new and innovative product offerings covering various sectors and asset classes across the markets. KAMCO’s client AUM have seen significant positive growth since the start of 2013 , further strengthening the company’s position as one of the largest asset management companies in the region.
