20 Ethiopians arrested for Immoral activities; Chaos in hotel

KUWAIT CITY, July 11: The Criminal Investigation Department has arrested 20 Ethiopians from various parts of Hawalli for indulging in immoral activities, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added at the time of arrest all those arrested were wearing indecent clothes.

Meanwhile, police have arrested an unidentified Filipino masseur for possessing 80 grams of narcotic substance, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the suspect was taken into custody from Mangaf. In other news, the same police have arrested an Indian for possessing 18 grams of heroin. Both men have been referred to the concerned authorities

Chaos in hotel: Police have detained five people for interrogation for causing disturbances in a local hotel, reports Alam Alyawm daily. According to the security sources the hotel management informed the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior when three men barged into the hotel room where a couple - Kuwaiti husband and his Canadian wife - was staying and assaulted the husband who had to be rushed to a private clinic for treatment. The suspects who stormed the hotel room are believed to be the man’s brothers-in-law. The daily did not give more details. Meanwhile, the Farwaniya police have detained four Asians for interrogation following a bloody fight in a suburb of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Rai daily. The arrest came after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received a call from an unidentified person
