Fake cop robs Indian of cash

KUWAIT CITY, July 10: Indian robbed: Securitymen are looking for an unidentified person for impersonating police and robbing KD 950 from an Indian, reports Al-Anba daily. In his complaint to the Fahaheel Police Station the Indian said the suspect demanded to see his ID and when he saw the money, he accused the Indian of money laundering. He then confiscated the wallet and told the Indian to follow him to the police station and escaped. The Indian has provided police the car plate number of the suspect.

Lawyer’s car stolen: Unknown person(s) stole a car belonging to one lawyer. The car was parked in front of the Justice Palace. In a complaint, the lawyer said he was surprised when he came out of the Justice Palace and discovered the car was missing. Detectives have since collected the description of the car and circulated its details to patrol teams and security checkpoints to trail the suspect.

Smuggling pistol: Officers at the Salmi border post recently foiled an attempt by a Saudi citizen to smuggle a pistol into the country, reports Al-Shahed daily. The pistol was hidden in his car. The daily quoting security sources said the Saudi and the weapon have been referred to the Public Prosecution
