Teenager robbed by gang of three, shot in face Syrian duo steal Kuwaiti’s car

KUWAIT CITY, June 23: Two unknown Syrians attacked a Kuwaiti citizen in Sulaibiya area and drove away in his vehicle. According to security sources, the Kuwaiti citizen had stopped his vehicle near a factory in Sulaibiya area when two unknown individuals opened the door of his vehicle and demanded him to step out. They then attacked him and drove away in the vehicle. He rushed to the nearest police station where he informed securitymen about the incident and provided details of his vehicle and descriptions of the suspects. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the unknown suspects. Meanwhile, an Indian expatriate filed a case at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station against two Syrians who waylaid him and robbed him of his mobile phone and KD 5 from his wallet. He informed securitymen that he recognized one of the suspects. Investigations have been launched to arrest the suspects.

Teen robbed, shot: Police are looking for three unidentified persons for robbing a 19-year-old youth and shooting him in his face, reports Al- Rai daily. Immediately after regaining consciousness, the youth told police that he was walking along a street in Maidan Hawally when the suspects stopped him and attempted to rob him. When he resisted, one of them shot him in the face with a pistol and drove off. He added, he failed to note the car plate number because he blanked out. He added, after regaining consciousness he took a cab and went to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital and the bullet was extracted through a surgery. A case of murder attempt and possessing an unlicensed gun has been registered at the area police station.
