Kuwaiti duped by Egyptian

KUWAIT CITY, June 18:  Police are looking for an unidentified Egyptian for swindling a Kuwaiti to the tune of KD 2,000, reports Al-Anba daily. The victim said he contacted a company and the suspect answered the phone following which he visited the Kuwaiti who wanted to do some renovation work on his house. The suspect quoted KD 17,300 and after receiving KD 2,000 advance payment disappeared. When the Kuwaiti contacted the company again, the officials denied anyone from the company receiving the money.

KD 3,000 stolen: Police are looking for a man, identified only as M., for robbing KD 3,000 from a Kuwaiti, reports Al-Anba daily. A police source said according to a complaint filed by the Kuwaiti with the Nugra Police Station the suspect broke into his home and stole KD 500 and another KD 2,500 from the car. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.
