14 Asians robbed by fake police

KUWAIT CITY, June 13: Fourteen Asians have filed complaints with the police accusing two unidentified police impersonators of breaking into their apartments and robbing KD 543 and rupees 9,200, reports Al-Rai daily. Police are looking for the suspects. Meanwhile, an Egyptian man has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified person of stealing his passport, air ticket, 6,000 Egyptian pounds and KD 160 from his apartment, reports Al-Anba daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.

 Wife reported missing: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a missing persons report on his 48-year-old wife with the Ahmadi Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily. The Kuwaiti has provided police all the details about the missing wife. Meanwhile, two women — a Jordanian and a Syrian — have been referred for interrogation following a fight between them over a dispute between children who were playing in the building compound where they live, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily did not give more details.
