Raids net countless; 11 Saudis deported:

Ahmadi securitymen arrested 25 individuals, seized two vehicles and issued two citations against traffic violations during surprise campaigns in Ahmadi Governorate. According to security sources, the arrested individuals included a Kuwaiti citizen who was wanted by law for a crime, three Asian expatriates in possession of 235 bottles of locally brewed liquor and an unidentified individual in possession of ‘heroin’ drug. They were referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Meanwhile, Farwaniya securitymen launched a security campaign in Farwaniya area during which they arrested a Kuwaiti citizen in possession of drugs, 11 violators of Residency Law, four individuals reported as absconding and 23 individuals without Civil IDs. They also issued 36 citations against various traffic violations and recovered vehicles that were reported as stolen.

Security sources affirmed that such security campaigns will continue throughout the country under the guidance of the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali for ensuring the safety and security of Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates.

11 Saudis deported: The Ministry of Interior has deported 11 Saudi citizens for taking part in a rally which was held at the Erada Square Tuesday, June 10, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the Saudis were identified by their car plate numbers. The authorities said several Saudis were rounded up for interrogation and some of them said they happened to be in a nearby restaurant and curiosity attracted their attention to the rally. However, the 11 deported said they had come to take part in the rally after making sure there are no court cases against them or they are not wanted by law.
