21 members of two feuding Syria families to be ousted

KUWAIT CITY, May 23: The Interior Ministry has taken necessary steps to deport 21 members of two Syrian families for violating the country’s rules and regulations, says the Security Information Department.

The decision follows a bloody fight between the members of two Syrian families in Sabah Hospital, following a previous quarrel between three Syrian expatriates in Al-Rai area.

Sources said patients and visitors to the Sabah Hospital were fear-stricken when the brothers and relatives of one person who was injured in the quarrel stormed the premises and fought with members of the second party’s family, resulting in injuries to nine people.

In the meantime, the management of the hospital requested the support of security operatives in controlling the fight, as fear and anarchy filled the atmosphere. The officers upon arrival managed to arrest 21 individuals. A case was registered against them
