Bangladeshis arrested for selling recycled revenue stamps

KUWAIT CITY, May 19: Personnel from the General Immigration Department have arrested two Bangladeshis for selling recycled revenue stamps, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily quoting security sources said police acting on a tip-off set a trap for the men and caught them redhanded while selling stamps to a police agent.

Daring robbery: Police are looking for an unidentified masked person for breaking into the home of a Kuwaiti man in Riqqa and stealing gold worth KD 10,000, KD 500 cash and 4,000 Saudi riyals, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources the suspect broke into the home, handcuffed the maid and two children and escaped with the loot. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.

Laptop stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar who allegedly broke into the vehicle of a Kuwaiti woman and stole the laptop computer, hard disk and important documents, reports Al-Rai daily.
