Lankan maid, minor girl electrocuted Woman run over, killed

 KUWAIT CITY, May 5: A Sri Lankan housemaid was electrocuted in the kitchen of her sponsor in Riqqa, reports al-Shahed daily. Without going into details the daily said the remains of the maid have been referred to Forensics. Police are investigating. Meanwhile, an unidentified eight-year-old non-Kuwait girl was electrocuted to death inside her home in Sulaibiya, reports Al-Rai daily. According to family, the girl was flung to the ground after she touched a live wire from a water cooler and lost consciousness. The family rushed her to a hospital, but she was declared dead upon arrival.

Woman dead: The remains of an unidentified expatriate woman, believed to be in her 40s, have been referred to Forensics, reports Al- Anba daily. She was allegedly run over by an unidentified motorist while walking on the side of the King Fahd Motorway. The motorist has been arrested and referred for interrogation.
