Security officials check the CCTV footage of the crime, and (right), the van used to transport money
Masked men kill two workers of money transport firm, rob KD 13K

KUWAIT CITY, April 26: Two Asian workers assigned in the bullion van of a money transportation company died when armed robbers attacked them and took possession of a bag containing KD 13,000 — sales of the Vegetable Market in Kabad.

The robbers did not touch KD 200,000 and the driver of the van. One of the victims, identified only as Valiya — an Indian, died on the spot while the other, his 25-yearold compatriot, identified as Seyyid Abu, succumbed to his wounds shortly after arrival at Farwaniya Hospital.

Their remains were referred to Forensics. According to an eyewitness, security operatives at the Operations Room received a distress call; so the rescue officers and paramedics rushed to the scene. Initial investigations revealed the robbers — two masked men fired at the workers who were putting the money into the van.

Detectives lifted fingerprints from the van and checked the CCTV cameras for investigation, resulting in the arrest of three suspects who were riding a Japanese-made car.
