Screams foil bid to kidnap Arab woman

KUWAIT CITY, April 24: The Hawalli police are looking for an unidentified person for attempting to kidnap an Arab woman, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources, the suspect offered to drive home the woman and when the latter refused the offer, she told police the man literally attempted to bundle her in his vehicle. The incident happened in Salmiya. The woman works in a shop selling cosmetics and was walking her way home. The motorist driving a black color vehicle allegedly pulled by her side and offered to take her ‘home’. The suspect reportedly escaped on foot when she screamed for help.

Pakistani robbed: A Pakistani man has filed a complaint with the Fahd Al- Ahmad Police Station accusing an unidentified person of impersonating police and stealing his money (KD 310), reports Al-Anba daily. Police are looking for the suspect. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti woman working at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has filed a complaint with the Zahra Police Station accusing an unidentified person of stealing her handbag from her office. The bag contained KD 50, reports Al-Anba daily.
