Jahra to witness boom in health sector Hospital to be largest in ME

KUWAIT CITY, April 21: Ministry of Health’s Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Affairs Qais Al-Doweiri has affirmed that Jahra will witness boom in the health sector in the coming years, particularly after the construction of the new Jahra Hospital which will be the largest in the Middle East, reports Al- Anba daily.

On the growing concern over the spread of tuberculosis and Ebola virus in Central Africa, Al-Doweiri asserted there is no reason for the public to worry because the tuberculosis rate in Kuwait is within the normal level and there has been no report of Ebola virus cases.

He said it is easier to deal with these diseases since the causes are known, unlike the Corona virus which remains a mystery until now.

Talking about the hexagon vaccination, Al-Doweiri explained the distribution has been delayed as the ministry wants to test its immunity ability. He also touched on the prevalence of steroids usage among youths and the unified system to regulate the entry of foreign workers to the GCC countries
