Border securitymen arrest woman with 110 ‘Valium’ pills 3 people held in possession of hashish, heroin, Shabu drug

KUWAIT CITY, April 19: Customs officers at Abdali border exit apprehended a woman from an unspecified GCC country on her way from Iraq in possession of 110 pills of the drug Valium, reports Al- Anba daily.

Apparently, the woman aroused suspicion of the officers and decided to check her bag where the drug was found. It is worth noting the drug is only allowed with a doctor’s prescription. The woman was referred to the concerned authority to find out the reason for possessing the drug.

Meanwhile, security operatives from the Special Operations Team arrested two youths for possessing two wraps of hashish, Shabu and a pill of ‘strawberry’ drug, with tools for doing drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The officers were on patrol duty at Lulua Khairan when they spotted the youths and asked them to stop due to a traffic violation the driver committed.

The officers noticed the suspects were disoriented as they approached them, so they went on to conduct a search inside their car and the contraband was found.

The suspects — alongside the illicit items, were referred to the concerned authority. Also, security operatives attached to the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Command arrested a Kuwaiti man in possession of heroin and the drug ‘Shabu’ at Sabah Al-Salem, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

The officers were on routine patrol when they caught the suspect violating the traffic rules, and after he defied orders to pull over, the officers chased the car until he crashed into another car and damaged three other cars, including a police car. The officers conducted a search inside the car and found illicit drugs.
