Kuwaiti gets murder threat from eight people Man beaten, shot at

KUWAIT CITY, April 18: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Riqqa Police Station accusing eight persons of attempting to kill him, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added when someone informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior police rushed to the spot but the suspects reportedly escaped in different directions. The victim has given police the names and addresses of three people. Meanwhile, a 30-year-old Kuwaiti who threatened to kill his ex-wife via social networking website WhatsApp has been arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for interrogation, reports Al-Rai daily. A case has been registered at the Mubarak Al-Kabir Police Station.

Man beaten, shot at: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with a police station accusing two unidentified armed persons of beating him and shooting at him at the camels markets in Al-Hajan, reports Al-Rai daily. As soon as the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received information, police rushed to the spot but failed to find the men. The Kuwaiti told police one of the men even tried to run over him with his vehicle while the other shot at him and stole KD 2,000 from his car. Police have summoned the suspects for interrogation and the Kuwaiti has been admitted to a hospital.

Teen harassed: The Abu Halifa police are looking for three juveniles for harassing and molesting an unidentified GCC teenager while he was playing in the garden of his house, reports Al-Rai daily. According to the complaint filed by the 10-year-old victim’s father, the suspects are neighbors. The suspects have been summoned for interrogation.
