Sorcery tools found on Arab expat woman

KUWAIT CITY, April 15: Customs officers of Abdali post foiled an attempt by a lady from an unspecified GCC country to smuggle sorcery tools, cryptic characters and related equipment to the country. A source said the lady aroused suspicion of the officers and they conducted thorough check on her and discovered tools for black magic. She was referred with the items to the concerned authority.

Grocer robbed: A Bangladeshi grocer, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Hawalli Police Station, accusing two unidentified persons of stealing KD 300 and pre-paid telephone cards worth KD 50, reports Al-Anba daily. The complainant said one of the suspects carried a cleaver and threatened to stab him if he raised an alarm while the other grabbed the money and cards from the cash box and escaped.

Kuwaiti under probe: Police are interrogating an unidentified Kuwaiti man in connection with financial cases and also for issuing forged documents for his employees to facilitate them to get bank loans, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily has also learnt that the employees no longer work for the man’s company and that there is a strong suspicion that the man is trading in visas.

Reporter’s car hit: Unknown person broke the glass of Al-Seyassah reporter Abdullah Al-Sahoud’s vehicle and stole KD 200 cash plus bank cards. The vehicle was parked in front of his house when the incident happened. Criminal Evidences Men have since lifted fingerprints to arrest the suspect.
