9-kg hashish, marijuana seeds, 1,000 drug pills seized from 3 men

 KUWAIT CITY, April 12: A Bangladeshi expatriate was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to smuggle 1,000 pills of ‘Tremadol’ into the country. According to security sources, customs officers suspected the Bangladeshi passenger and checked his luggage to find the banned pills hidden inside some cassettes. They arrested him and referred him to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.

Meanwhile, customs officers also arrested an Egyptian expatriate in possession of marijuana seeds and two wraps of hashish, which he was attempting to smuggle into the country. He was referred to the Public Prosecution for necessary legal procedures. In addition, Abdali border securitymen arrested an Asian expatriate for attempting to smuggle nine kilograms of hashish into the country, which he had concealed under his baggage. He was referred for prosecution.
