McDonald’s names winners of WC program Four lucky children from Kuwait to travel to Brazil

KUWAIT CITY, April 6: McDonald’s Kuwait announced today that four lucky children from Kuwait will be travelling with a parentto Brazil this summer, to the FIFA World Cup 2014(tm),as part of its Player Escort Program. McDonald’s is the official partner and the official restaurant of the FIFA World Cup 2014(tm), and it will be supplying the travel, accommodation, match tickets and meals for all recipients and parents during their trip. The winners from Kuwait have been named as Abdul Aziz Al Enizi (9 years), Ahmed Mostafa (9 years), RamziTermanini (9 years) andHadiHamdan (10 years). The four young boys will be travelling to Brazil with their parents this summer for what is sure to be the experience of a lifetime.

Commenting on his win, HadiHamdansaid — “I love football and I am so excited to be going to see the FIFA World Cup in Brazil! I would love to play football for Barcelona Football Clubwhen I am older. Getting a chance to walk onto the pitch with the world’s best teams and players is just amazing — I still can’t quite believe it is really happening. I am very lucky.  This will make me work even harder to achieve my dreams of becoming an international football player like my hero [Lionel Messi]. Thank you McDonald’s!”
FirasHamdan, Hadi’s father said, “I can’t believe that my son has been chosen to walk onto the pitch at the Brazil FIFA World Cup, or that I will be therein the stadium watchinghim! Childrenare selected through participating in a football skills competition conducted with the help of the Boca Juniors Football Academy, the McDonald’s partner who has helped make the program a success.
