Controversy dogs girl’s death Kuwaiti student dies in UK

KUWAIT CITY, April 3: A UK newspaper has announced the death of a 25-year-old female Kuwaiti student, whose identity has not disclosed, reports Al-Shahed daily. The victim who was reportedly stabbed to death according to UK police was found in her Bournemouth apartment. The UK security sources also said the suspect is in police custody. Meanwhile, the daily added, it is worth mentioning Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is mum on the incident. However, according to the Al-Seyassah newspaper, the victim’s family on the social networking website has said the death was natural citing a UK Forensic report.

The victim’s family says all stories about the murder are baseless rumors and has threatened to sue all media in Kuwait and the UK for discrediting the family with false information. In another twist to the incident, the Al-Rai newspaper reported the victim was stabbed by her father before turning the knife on himself and as a result he suffered four stab wounds. The daily added the victim was studying in the UK and had enrolled for the English language course last November and that she died at the hands of her father who is suffering from psychological problems. The daily said the incident happened on March 30 last off Saint Michael Street and that the investigations were delayed because the prime suspect was bleeding profusely and was taken to hospital. The sources added the victim was stabbed around 12.30 hours.
