Masked intruder brutally rapes Nepali maid

KUWAIT CITY, March 27: A Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified person of breaking into the room of his Nepali maid and raping her, reports Al-Anba daily. The maid told police the suspect wearing a mask broke into her room and beat her and then forcibly raped her. Police are investigating.

‘Haaris’ molests woman: An Egyptian security guard of a residential building in Salmiya area was arrested for attempting to molest a 25- year old Kuwaiti woman inside her flat. According to security sources, the Kuwaiti woman had requested the Egyptian security guard of her building to help her in taking some items to her flat. After entering her flat, the suspect tried to kiss and fondle the woman. When the neighbors heard her shouting for help, they rushed to help her and the suspect immediately fled from the flat. The woman rushed to Salmiya Police Station and filed a case against the suspect. Securitymen arrested him and detained him in police custody to refer him to the Public Prosecution.

Drugs with Bangladeshi: A Bangladeshi expatriate was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to smuggle 1,000 narcotic pills into the country, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, when customs officers suspected the Bangladeshi passenger and checked his luggage, they discovered 1,000 narcotic pills hidden in his luggage. He was referred with the illicit pills to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.

40 held sans ID: Jahra securitymen arrested 40 individuals without Civil IDs, seized 14 vehicles and issued 60 citations against various traffic violations during an inspection campaign in Jahra area, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Sources stressed that Jahra securitymen will continue to launch such campaigns in all areas of the governorate to maintain the security of the area.

Liquor seized: A GCC national was arrested at Jahra Industrial Area in possession of 20 bottles of locally brewed liquor. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen had launched a security checkpoint in Jahra Industrial Area for inspection. When securitymen requested the suspect to stop at the checkpoint, he fled from the location. Securitymen chased him and eventually managed to stop him. They checked his details and discovered he is a GCC national who was wanted by law for his involvement in a number of cases. They checked his vehicle and found 20 bottles of locally brewed liquor. The suspect was referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
