KUWAIT CITY, March 27: The detention renewal judge Saoud Farhoud ordered the release of 12 individuals, who were involved in the shooting incident at a wedding ceremony in Taima area last week, on bail of KD 100 each. Counsel to the seventh defendant Lawyer Talal Saber Al-Enzi raised doubts about the testimony of the investigation officer, urging the court to release his clients because they cannot flee from the country or change the course of justice.

The counsel to the other defendants Lawyer Faisal Ayal Al-Enezi also insisted on the release of his clients, stressing that it is in line with the law and the Penal Code procedures. He said the Ministry of Interior was unable to provide concrete evidences that criminalize his clients, faulting the investigation procedures, which he stressed contradicted the clauses of Articles 31, 32, and 39 of the Constitution.
